Early Morning Beverly Hills

It’s early morning and Frank has stopped on the deserted street to enjoy a cigarette in peace. The sun is just coming up over the distant palm trees. He’ll no doubt take the car back home to Palm Springs and hoist the martini flag on his flagpole. Here he is at the height of his Rat Pack fame, sporting his signature hat.

The portrait evokes images of late night/early morning revelry with the Rat Pack, maybe Marilyn Monroe or JFK? Who knows? We can be sure that Frank had a great time with his pals.
