Frank: Rat Pack

Here’s Frank Sinatra as Danny Ocean from 1960’s “Ocean’s Eleven.” Danny (Frank) invites his war buddies to join him in a big heist: ripping off 5 casinos in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve. The film is a great Rat Pack time capsule featuring Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Cesar Romero.

The movie was really an excuse for Frank and friends to party in Vegas while filming. Indeed, they’d be playing the lounges in Vegas at the same time. The painting captures a moment in movie and Rat Pack history.

The painting measures 16 inches by 20 inches and is painted in oil. This one-of-a-kind, original artwork will ship UNFRAMED. This portrait captures Frank/Danny’s face as the hard/ill-gotten gains of the heist go up in flames. The other members of the group turn and look at each other in silent dismay, knowing they can’t say a word. They can only sit and dream of what they just had, now turned into a pile of ashes.
