Paul Lynde was a staple on 60s TV, especially so on “Bewitched” starring Elizabeth Montgomery, which ran from 1964 to 1972. Uncle Arthur was the mischeivous raltive of Mongomery’s Samantha Stephens, wife of ad exec Darren Stephens (played by both Dick York and Dick Sargent). You could always look forward to a laugh when Paul Lynde was onscreen. His delivery and laughter was unique and giggle-inducing.

Lynde was also a regular on “The Hollywood Squares” game show, occupying the center square. Stories abound from the Squares such as the whole “cast” getting sloshed at lunch, making for a riotous second half of the show.

The painting measures 16 inches by 20 inches and is painted in oil. This one-of-a-kind, original artwork will ship unframed, but with a hanging wire attached. This portrait of Paul Lynde has him holding a bag of 5,000 CENTS of humor. Obviously he held onto that bag throughout his career to the delight of fans.
